By far my most popular painting, ‘Foxfire’ ~ a limited edition of ten prints ~ sold out last year. Since then several people have asked about this piece and I’ve had to say that it’s no longer available.

However, I’ve decided to create a new edition of ten pieces at the significantly larger size of 45cm x 45cm. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the regulations surrounding limited edition prints:

“Changing size or medium: If you sell out and want to use the image again, you must change the size significantly or use a totally different printing method (like turning a large screen print into a small digital giclée)”

No. 1 has already sold, so there are still nine prints available at this new, larger size.

Incidentally, I do have a limited edition of ten pieces at a much smaller size (25cm x 25cm + text attached to the print) of which five have already sold.

Established in 1991 after a history as the town’s Promenade Rooms, The Mercer Gallery now houses the Harrogate District Fine Art Collection, which includes 19th and 20th-century British art. In addition to its permanent collection, the gallery hosts touring exhibitions, contemporary work and a biennial Harrogate Open Exhibition.
